Get to know Ashley, an Administrative Coordinator in Connecticut, and understand some of her favorite things about her role and working at Evergreen.

Can you tell us about your journey with Evergreen so far?

Since starting my position at Evergreen in October, I’ve encountered plenty of information related to my position that I can incorporate in my daily life. Before coming to Evergreen, I worked in the medical field for over 6 years in various HR positions including an MRI supervisor, patient registration associate, medical collection administrator and other roles. Being in the medical field was quite draining, especially when I would often have to be the bearer of bad news. Having the opportunity to work for a company like Evergreen has been eye-opening in the sense that workers should be treated with more empathy and consideration as this company does for myself and others. I can genuinely say I love my job and enjoy working. I was never one to like working in a remote position, but working for this company does not feel as if I’m alone or excluded from others.

What do you like most about the work that you do?

There are many things that I like about my job, but what I enjoy the most is communication. I appreciate that everyone I work with is on the same page. Unfortunately, we don’t get to see each other daily, so communication is key, and I feel like that goes without saying here at Evergreen. Everyone is so helpful, patient, and welcoming.

What excites you the most about your program?

Knowing that I have Caylin on my team. She has been nothing less than amazing. Anything I would deem catastrophic, Caylin would help me realize it’s just a minor setback along with helping fix the mishap we have at hand, and how to handle related scenarios in the future. She is a powerhouse and deserves all the praise.
