September is Self-Care Awareness Month, so today we’re sharing some information and resources to help you prioritize your own wellbeing this month and all months.

Practicing self-care can take your personal well-being to the next level. In today’s busy culture, it can be easy to push our own needs aside to focus on work, the needs of others, and more. Ensuring your own health and wellness is a priority will land you in better shape to tackle those other outside factors. The result? More comfort and success in your personal and professional journeys, and a better quality of life.

What can I do?

  • Take a few moments to step back and focus on yourself. Make it part of your daily routine and you can carry this practice forward throughout the year.
  • Ask yourself
    • How am I feeling? Energized the excited? Tired and burnt out? Sad or anxious?
    • Am I treating my body well? Getting enough sleep? Eating well? Exercising?
    • Am I doing things daily that bring me joy? It could be anything – listening to your favorite music, spending time outdoors, connecting with others, carving out “me time”
