Today we’re sharing some insight into Evergreen’s B Corp Impact Report. What info feeds into this report? Well, to become a B Corp, businesses must complete a B Impact Assessment which includes a series of questions about your company in five categories, or impact areas: governance, workers, community, the environment, and customers. The answers to each question are scored, with the combined score resulting in a business’ Overall B Impact Score. A score of 80 or above qualifies for B Corp Certification.
During our first assessment, Evergreen’s Overall B Impact Score was 96.2. Below, is the breakdown of how we scored in each impact area as well as benchmarks for comparison to other companies. In the coming months we will be going through the reassessment process, in which we hope to improve our score.
More details about each impact area can be found in Evergreen’s B Corp listing, including some additional highlights around us being “mission locked” in the Governance category and having an “impact business model” in the Environment category.
